Roles and Responsibilities

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in agile software engineering as a backend developer with Skills on Java 8, Spring BootKnowledge on Restful web services, Microservices, Hibernate and DatabaseYou've mastered many technologies over your career and quickly pick up new ones when neededYou have a strong understanding of developing applications for the public cloudApplication development/refactoring/redevelopment (Eg. Java & Spring Boot)Application hosting on compute services such as Azure App Service and Azure Functions.Messaging via Azure Service Bus.Security development (e.g., moving to modern authn/authz protocols such as OIDC & OAuth2 with Azure AD and/or Okta; possible usage of Cloudflare).Database migration (primarily from Oracle to PostgreSQL; Azure SQL and CosmosDB may also be used in some cases).ETL process migration to Azure Logic Apps and/or Azure Data Factory.
