Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Lead Game Prop Artist at Ares Studio. The Lead Game Prop Artist will be responsible for creating and designing 3D props for games, ensuring high-quality and immersive experiences. They will collaborate with the art and design teams to develop concepts and bring them to life through 3D modeling and texturing. Additionally, the Lead Game Prop Artist will provide guidance and mentorship to junior artists and ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software
- Experience in creating high-quality 3D props for games
- Knowledge of game art pipelines and workflows
- Proficient in industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
- Understanding of art fundamentals, including anatomy, color theory, and composition
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior artists
- Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, Digital Arts, or related field
