Whatyou willdo


  • Workswith large volumes of traffic data and user behaviors to buildpipelines that enhance rawdata;

  • Ableto break down and communicate highly complex data problems intosimple feasiblesolutions;

  • Extractpatterns from large datasets and transform data into aninformationaladvantage;

  • Findanswers to business questions via handson exploration of data setsvia Jupyter SQL dashboards statistical analysis and datavisualizations;

  • Partnerwith the internal product and business intelligence teams todetermine the best approach around data ingestion structure andstorage. Then work with the team to ensure these are implementedcorrectly;

  • Contributingideas on how to make our data more effective and working with othermembers of the engineering BI teams and business units to implementchanges.


Must haves


  • Bachelors degree and 3 years of work experience in Data Engineering andAnalytics fields or consulting roles with a focus on digitalanalyticsimplementations;

  • Experiencewith large scale data warehouse management systems such as BigQueryfor 1 years with advanced level understanding of warehouse costmanagement and queryoptimization;

  • ProficientinPython;

  • Experiencewith Apache Airflow or equivalent tools for orchestration ofpipelines;

  • Ableto write SQL to perform common types of analysis andtransformations;

  • Strongproblemsolving and creativethinkingskills;

  • Demonstrateddevelopment of ongoing technical solutions while developing andmaintaining documentation at times training impactedteams;

  • Experiencedeveloping solutions to business requirements via handson discoveryand exploration ofdata;

  • Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills including the ability tocommunicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences as well astranslating business requirements into DataSolutions;

  • Experiencewith ETL &ELT;

  • Experiencebuilding and deploying applications on GCP cloudplatform;

  • Buildsstrong commitment within the team to support the appropriate teampriorities;

  • Stayscurrent with new and evolving technologies via formal training andselfdirectededucation.
