About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Marathi TV Show Creative Director & Project Head (Contract - 3 Months) to join our team and lead the development and production of high-quality, engaging non-fiction shows for a major Marathi television network.


Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop new non-fiction show ideas aligned with the network's brand and target audience, with a focus on integrating elements of jury and talent training.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and audience appeal for the shows, including expertise relevant to the jury and talent training aspects.
  • Write compelling show proposals that include storylines, treatments, budgets, and detailed run orders for both audition episodes and show episodes, incorporating jury and talent training segments.
  • Oversee the entire production process from pre-production to post-producción (post-production), ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and the planned run order.
  • Manage a team of writers, researchers, videographers, editors, and other production personnel.
  • Lead jury selection and training , ensuring their expertise aligns with the show's concept and their on-screen persona is engaging.
  • Develop and oversee talent training programs , crafting a curriculum that hones their skills and prepares them for the competition.
  • Script doctor content related to jury segments and talent training portions, providing creative direction to ensure the content resonates with the Marathi audience.
  • Work closely with the channel team to ensure the shows meet their editorial requirements, brand guidelines, and run order for both audition and main episodes.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in Marathi non-fiction television and audience preferences, with a specific focus on incorporating jury and talent training elements into the genre.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Marathi television industry, preferably in the non-fiction genre.
  • Proven track record of conceptualizing, developing, and producing successful non-fiction shows.
  • Strong understanding of the Marathi language and culture.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Marathi scriptwriting is a plus.
