M&A Director

With a strong commitment to innovation and growth, we are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic M&A Director to lead our strategic initiatives.
As the M&A Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of our client in Belgium through strategic mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. You will lead a talented team and work closely with senior executives to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions that align with our corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine the overall M&A strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the executive team to ensure M&A activities support the company's long-term vision.
Deal Origination:
Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and investment targets.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential transactions through market research and networking.
Due Diligence:
Lead due diligence efforts for potential transactions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to assess financial, operational, and legal aspects.
Analyze and present findings to the executive team, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation:
Develop deal structures that align with strategic objectives and financial goals.
Lead negotiations with external parties to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Execution and Integration:
Oversee the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, working closely with legal, finance, and operational teams.
Develop and implement integration plans to maximize value from completed transactions.
Stakeholder Management:
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, legal advisors, financial institutions, and potential targets.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an M&A professional, with a track record of successfully leading transactions.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of M&A processes, legal regulations, and best practices.
