Job Title: Global R2 R Delivery Lead/ Accountant- R2 RLocation: Bangalore, IndiaFunction: Finance Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS)Onsite - 2 days a week at RMZ Ecoworld, Sarjapur, Marathalli Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru EastDuration - 9-12-month extendable contract.Start - September ASAPThey can work in EST time when not in the office. Start time for the remote days is 9:30 AM EST.When in office (Tuesday /Thursday ) 10 am-3 pm and then 8 pm-11 pm ISTWe are seeking an experienced Global R2 R (Record-to-Report) Delivery Lead to oversee and drive Finance Shared Services operations from our Bangalore hub. This leadership role will be accountable for strategy, governance, service delivery, process excellence, and people management across global R2 R functions. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in managing large Finance SSCs, implementing best practices, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement aligned with group standards. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & PlanningDefine and execute the strategic vision for the Finance SSC, ensuring alignment with GBS and global finance objectives.Lead budget development, financial planning, and operational governance for the SSC.Actively participate in GBS management forums and contribute to long-term finance transformation strategies.Operational ExcellenceDrive continuous process improvement, harmonization, and automation initiatives across R2 R processes to deliver cost efficiency and scalability.Implement global best practices while ensuring alignment with local statutory and compliance requirements.Develop and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure world-class service delivery.Stakeholder EngagementManage global stakeholder relationships with senior finance leaders and business partners.Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, performance reviews, and governance meetings.Align SSC delivery outcomes with global business expectations and strategic priorities.Accounting, Reporting & ComplianceEnsure adherence to Group Accounting Standards, local GAAP, internal controls (ICFR), and regulatory requirements.Oversee timely, transparent, and accurate financial reporting for global operations.Partner with external and internal auditors to ensure audit readiness, address findings, and strengthen compliance frameworks.People Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and inspire a large SSC workforce, ensuring the team is skilled, engaged, and aligned to business goals.Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.Qualifications & ExperienceCA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance or equivalent advanced degree.15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 8 years in managing large Finance SSC/GBS teams.Deep expertise in R2 R processes, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks.Strong track record in stakeholder management across multiple geographies.Demonstrated success in driving finance transformation, process standardization, and automation initiatives.Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.What We OfferOpportunity to lead a global finance transformation journey.Exposure to senior stakeholders across global markets.A collaborative and growth-focused work environment in a global organization.
