Position Heads the Delivery Of Verizon Account in India for the Client - A Reputed Mid Sized IT company

Must have managed 400 plus resources as the account currently has currently about 700 , and expected to grow to 1500

Must have managed P&L of usd 20 million or more

Responsible for Delivery, P&L management, and Account Growth ( imp)

Must have IT Services experience and be from software development background

Role Brief :

As the Director of Delivery & Program Management, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects within the telecom domain. Your expertise will be vital in managing project teams, optimizing project delivery, and ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that meet their business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and someone with a deep understanding of the telecom industry.


Key Responsibilities :

  1. Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the Delivery & Program Management team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  2. Program Management: Manage a portfolio of telecom projects, ensuring successful execution, on-time delivery, and within budget. Establish best practices in program and project management.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met, and acting as a trusted advisor on telecom solutions.
  4. Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring the right talent is assigned to projects.
  5. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and methodologies in the delivery of telecom projects.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  7. Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and optimizing resource allocation.
  8. Team Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Delivery & Program Management team. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
  9. Reporting: Generate regular progress reports for executive leadership and clients, summarizing project status, risks, and opportunities.
  10. Innovation: Drive innovation in telecom solutions and delivery processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a minimum of 5+ years in program and project management within the telecom industry.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, infrastructure, and services.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex telecom projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and PMP.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
