About Oter At Oter, we are building a product that helps busy professionals stay on top of their reading goals with a feature-rich book summary app that also helps them meet their professional and personal goals. We are a lean team of professionals seeking a Business Development Consultant who can help expand our business network, build outreach and lead B2B product adoptions and sales.
Job Description
Oter is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to drive the adoption and sales of our Microbook App within targeted industries and organizations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for outreach, developing customized sales pitches, and closing deals with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a bankable network of business connections.
Responsibilities
Conduct proactive outreach to potential clients and decision-makers in targeted industries.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive adoption of Oter's Microbook App.
Customize sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Oter to each prospective client.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation processes for new clients.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and achievements to the management team.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.
Proven track record of success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets.
A strong network of business connections and relationships within target industries.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and drive to succeed.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
