Data Engineer Bangalore / Full-Time Job Description Mareana is looking for experienced Data Engineer with a strong development background using, RDMS, graph database and NoSQL platforms. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing Mareana’s products in supply chain, manufacturing, and unstructured data. The ideal candidate should have experience in data engineering, end-to-end microservices-based application development, data wrangling, and building data pipelines. Candidates with solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and Linux fundamentals will have an added advantage. What You'll Do Research, architect, and develop innovative multi-tiered solutions using modern tools and methodologies with a goal for technical excellence Design and construct an optimized and purpose-built graph database architecture that promotes performance, scalability, and ease of support Work closely with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to develop and build solutions Ensure that the architecture and design of the solution is in alignment with overall enterprise architecture Solve problems and proactively look for ways to improve our products and platform Provide leadership on the future of core frameworks, API’s and design concepts when architecting applications Mentor junior software developers Requirements Overall, 4 –7 years of experience in the industry with strong database experience Minimum 2+ years of experience in Graph Databases like neo4j, including strong experience in object-graph mapping, exploration, analysis and reporting plugins, configuring neo4j-OGM, dependency management, variable-depth persistence, and clustering. 3+ years of Azure/AWS, Python, SQL and ETL experience Hands-on expertise in modeling data in the form of graph nodes and vertices, CQL, Query tuning, Indexes, Graph OLTP and OLAP process understanding. In-depth knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (including agile, iterative, and other modern approaches to software development) Good knowledge Graph Database (Neo4j) and Cypher Query Expert in data transformation in SQL or Scala or Pandas Expert in SQL RDBMS DB concept Good knowledge in integration/import & export data Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AZURE or AWS) Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.G., executive, management, individual contributors) Nice to Have Git/BitBucket, TFS/Azure DevOps proficiency Rapid solution prototyping experience Benefits Medical Insurance Paid Time Off Employee referral bonus program Awesome coworkers About Mareana Founded in 2015, Mareana is an AI-powered software company with the mission of accelerating digital transformation in manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability via our connected intelligence platform.
