Purpose/ObjectiveWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineering Head to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in the Desalination, Hydro, WTP, STP, and water irrigation industry. As the Design Engineering Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design engineering team, overseeing the development of innovative and sustainable solutions, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.*Key Responsibilities of RoleLead and manage the design engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to team membersOversee the design and development of desalination, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and water irrigation systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conceptualization to completionDrive innovation and sustainability in design solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practicesEnsure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements throughout the design processManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality engineering designsConduct regular quality reviews and assessments to maintain the highest standards of design excellenceProvide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partnersStay updated on industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovationContribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the engineering departmentTechnical SkillsExpertise in Dam Design, Tunnel designExpertise in water treatment plant design and operationProficiency in STP and desalination design and managementIn-depth knowledge of water irrigation network systems and technologiesFamiliarity with Auto CAD, Revit, and other design softwareUnderstanding of hydraulic modeling and environmental impact assessmentExperience with project management tools and techniquesKnowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and environmental standards*Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred), Environmental Engineering, or related fieldMaster's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline preferredExperienceMinimum of 20 years of experience in the Desalination, Hydro, WTP, STP, and water irrigation industryDemonstrated track record of leading design engineering teams and delivering successful projectsProven experience in developing and implementing innovative and sustainable design solutionsStrong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
