Job Title : Test Automation Architect

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 8-10 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Automate ECU functionalities using Python and other tools in the automotive domain.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and unit testing frameworks like Pytest and unittest.

- Work with CAPL scripting, vTestStudio, and dSpace toolchain (Control Desk, VT System) to automate test cases in both virtual and HIL environments.

- Integrate automation testing in CI/CD pipelines and configure test cases for seamless execution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing standards are met and contribute to ASPICE-compliant development processes.

- Use configuration management tools such as GitHub for efficient version control and variant management.

Qualifications :

- Educational Background : B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), or Mechatronics.

- Experience : Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 10 years focused on test automation.

- Proficiency in Python programming and test automation frameworks (Pytest, unittest).

- Hands-on experience with CAPL scripting, vTestStudio, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, SOME I/P).

- Prior experience in testing automotive sub-systems such as lighting, chassis, ADAS, and connected vehicle features.

- Expertise in HIL and virtual test environments using dSpace tools (Control Desk, VT System).

- Familiarity with Agile development practices and ASPICE standards.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams and manage customer interactions

Desired Skills :

- Experience in developing reusable test libraries and scripts for various levels of virtual testing.

- Familiarity with branching strategies, variant management, and continuous integration systems.

- Experience with peer reviews, walk-throughs, and reviewing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

- Hands-on experience in handling teams and customer requirements.
