Job Description :
We are looking for a Perception Engineer with over 4 years of experience in developing software for autonomous driving systems, camera/radar fusion, and edge AI devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in calibration, building Perception models, and deploying AI solutions on edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson platforms using tools like OpenVINO, SPNE, and DeepStream SDK.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-performance, real-time software solutions that power ADAS and autonomous driving features, ensuring efficient deployment on embedded and edge AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
-Software Development: Develop, optimize, and deploy software for ADAS and Autonomous Driving systems, camera/radar fusion, and sensor-based perception on edge AI platforms.
- Edge AI Development : Develop and deploy AI algorithms on edge AI devices, including NVIDIA Jetson platforms using Jetpacks, DeepStream SDK, and OpenVINO.
- Sensor Calibration: Manage the full process of integrating and calibrating sensors (camera, radar, LiDAR) for precise environmental perception.
- Camera/Radar Fusion: Develop and optimize fusion algorithms for multi-sensor data to ensure robust perception.
- Simulation with CARLA: Utilize the CARLA simulator for testing and validating autonomous driving features and algorithms in a simulated environment.
- Real-Time Processing: Ensure that the software developed for edge AI devices meets real-time performance standards with low latency and high efficiency.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with hardware, systems, and AI engineers to integrate perception algorithms with vehicle control systems and edge devices.
- Testing & Validation: Use simulation and real-world environments to test, validate, and optimize autonomous driving systems and perception models.
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure all software solutions comply with automotive safety standards like ISO 26262 and adhere to ASIL levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in software development for autonomous driving systems and edge AI solutions.
- Expertise in segmentation models for object detection and lane/scene understanding.
- Proven experience with edge AI devices such as NVIDIA Jetson, OpenVINO, SPNE, and DeepStream SDK.
- Experience with sensor fusion, calibration, and integration for camera, radar, and LiDAR systems.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in C++, Python, and experience with frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Embedded Systems & Edge AI: Deep understanding of embedded systems and deploying AI models on edge devices with real-time optimization.
- Simulation Tools: Expertise with the CARLA simulator for autonomous driving development and validation.
- Computer Vision & AI: Strong experience in developing computer vision and deep learning algorithms for perception systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Autonomous Parking Systems: Hands-on experience in building software for autonomous parking features like collision avoidance and path planning.
- Deep Learning for Edge Devices: Experience in deploying deep learning models, such as segmentation and object detection, on edge AI devices.
- Tools: Experience with Git, ROS, Jenkins, and other software development and continuous integration tools.
- Functional Safety: Familiarity with ISO 26262 standards and ASIL levels for automotive software.
- Jetson & Edge AI: Proven experience in optimizing and deploying AI models on NVIDIA Jetson platforms, using Jetpack SDK, OpenVINO, SPNE, or DeepStream for real-time edge computing.
