Most prior SAP HCM knowledge has been lost, and the current team consists primarily of developers with limited HR functional expertise. The SAP system continues to support ongoing HR and Payroll operations and will remain operational for Payroll processing and historical data post-Workday implementation.In the new landscape, Workday will serve as the system of record , while SAP HCM ECC will function as a downstream system , integrated via SHAPEiN using PECI .Core Focus Areas Analyze and document existing SAP HCM ECC configuration , including custom developments, tables, schemas, and infotypes.Stabilize Payroll, Time Management, and Personnel Administration processes to ensure uninterrupted HR operations.Maintain SAP as an integration-ready, data-consistent downstream system within the Workday ecosystem.Collaborate with Workday and SHAPEiN partners , providing accurate SAP-side logic, field definitions, and data structure information.Produce structured, maintainable documentation and
