JOB DETAILS 1. Site visits to familiarize with the project areas2. Identify any issues that might hinder the implementation of works in any of the areas 3. Conducting feasibility studies of water resources within the proposed project area and advice on the most feasible water for livelihood project 4. To obtain, study and synthesize background information including the geology, hydrogeology and existing borehole data, for the purpose of improving the quality of assessment and preparing comprehensive hydrogeological reports, detailing the viability of both Manual and Machine drilling 5. To carry out hydrogeological evaluation and geophysical investigations in the selected sites in order to determine potential for groundwater and appropriateness of manual drilling of boreholes at the proposed sites 6. Review and describe policy and legal basis within which the project is to be implemented, making reference to relevant National and International water and environmental policies and guidelines 7. Exceptional skills in appropriate engineering tools for mapping and laying out, drawing engineering designs and developing BOQ for Water catchment structures 8.
