Job Description : - Play a key role to develop an IT solution independently using mainframe skillset (PL/1, CICCS, DB2, JCL) - Perform build & deploy of solutions with necessary quality assurance practices (Code review, Unit Testing,) - Understand the business requirements and active involvement in refining them to meet the intended usage - Proactive in collaborating with-in & team(s) across the organization to deliver the projects & operation Skills : PL/1, JCL, IDMA, DB2, CICS Requirements : - Extensive expertise in mainframe technologies such as PL/I, JCL, VSAM, and CICS. - Advanced understanding of database systems, particularly IDMS & DB2, and related tools. - Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Jira. - Expertise in developing pipelines for CI/CD processes. - Experience in working with different IDE's, particularly IDz. - Skilled in conducting 'Impact Analysis' and 'Work Package Estimation' for complex PL/I applications. - Should be well-versed in SOAP and REST concepts and have experience in developing RESTful services. - In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles. - Working knowledge of Traditional & Agile/Scrum methodologies - Well verse with Gen AI tools and use them to bring efficiency & quality into daily routine (ref:hirist.tech)
