Please do not contact the recruiter directly.DESCRIPTION:GAR (Global Accts Rec) is looking for a proactive, curious, customer and people centric FinOps Specialist to build, synchronize and manage critical processes in O2C lifecycle. Role involves use of controls, both systematic and manual, keen attention to detail and targeted statistical monitoring to ensure process is accurate and in compliance with financial policies. This person should be able to perform process dive deeps, question status quo to improve processes/systems and a multitasker with good communication skills and stakeholder management.The successful candidate will be cooperating with a broad management team, controllers and other subject matter experts across the Globe. Will have a good desire to harmonize and improve efficiency and to exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Foster team unity as you build relationships while working closely with cross functional teams and fellow managers to continually reach GAR goals.As part of our commitment to your development, the successful candidate will also gain exposure to cross- functional projects and initiatives.Key job responsibilities1. Design and implement standard operation procedure changes for enhancing controllership. Coordinate and align with operational managers on implementation of procedures.3. Be a controllership ambassador for GAR channels and perform process self-inspections/investigations leveraging AI applications as well.4. Coordinate with controllers and compliance teams.5. Identify control automation opportunities and work with respective functions to implement suggestions6. Ensure company established policies and procedures are followed, and staff is adequately trained7. Collaborate with external upstream Amazon organizations and interact with senior management8. Act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external stakeholders9. Oversee the hiring & training of new team members and support their development10. Ensure productivity is maximized through supervision, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.11. Use existing AI productivity or analysis applications to fasttrack controllership reviews with improved data backing.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience using data to influence business decisions- •Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Studies or other related areas- •6+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience- •3+ years of experience in process and risk audits, both financial and non-financial- •4+ years of experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.- •Demonstrated ability to lead diverse talent within a team, work cross-functionally, and build consensus on difficult and super complex issues- •Ability to take responsibility for making difficult decisions, taking calculated risks and experimenting with new approaches- •Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills- •Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly and effectively with the team- •Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word- •Proven instances in identifying and driving process improvements and operational efficiency projects- •Ability to learn and develop processes from scratchPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Master's degree or above in finance, accounting or related field- •Basic knowledge of SQL, Tableau and QuickSight- •Advanced MS Office user, specifically MS Excel/Access/Macros & Word- •Experience of Oracle/Oracle Receivables- •4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- •6+ years of experience in Accounts ReceivablesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
