To manage credit risk analytics area including credit scorecard development, and monitoring, maintaining credit decision engine for credit rules and scorecards, develop and enhance credit portfolio analysis capabilities
Job Role:
Ensuring development of scorecards for credit products for different portfolios
Development/enhancement of scorecard monitoring tools and ensuring periodic monitoring of the scorecard performance
Manage the implementation and maintenance of scorecards in credit decision engine tool
Manage the implementation of credit rules in credit decision engine tool and periodic changes based on testing and impact assessment, as and when required
Providing support in development and monitoring of PD, LGD and other risk models
Validation of credit scoring models at frequent intervals
Maintaining all required model documents and other records as required by internal policies or regulatory requirements
Developing and updating policies related to model risk/credit analytics on period basis
Need to build machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) tools that automate certain processes within the company
Prepare various credit portfolio reports providing deeper insights into portfolio quality
Response to queries raised by external or internal audit for any review undertaken by them
Job Requirements:
Minimum 7 Years of experience in financial sector with exposure in development of credit score cards preferably in MFI lending
Excellent applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Excellent understanding of common data science and Analytics toolkits such as R, Python, SAS, Tableau etc
Excellent understanding of credit decision engine and credit rules
Understanding of data structures and query languages like SQL
Understanding of Credit underwriting and risk management process
Good understanding of financial sector with technical understanding of various financial models
Analytical mindset
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Critical Thinking / Problem Solving
Teamwork / Collaboration.
Adaptability / Decisiveness
Qualifications:
Degree in Mathematics and Statistics / Computer Science / Engineering
