UX Designer Job Description (4-8 Years)


We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our customer care product (post purchasing journey). You will be creating or defining customer journey, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies with User Researcher team.


Responsibilities for UX Designer:

  • Understand product specifications and user psychology.
  • Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them in designs.
  • Create personas through user research and data with UXR team.
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around User needs.
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs.
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.
  • Review and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Work with the research team to plan and conduct remote and on-site user research and usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.


Requirements:

  • A designer with a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience.
  • Good time-management skills
  • Working experience in Web, Mobile app design and Responsive design.
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen.
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Able to take ownership and work on project timelines.
  • Self-motivated takes initiative to resolve issues.
  • identify areas for improvement.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
