Essential key member of the Integrated Business Planning team, within our Global Supply Chain organization, who serves as the Product Owner of our core planning system SAP IBP and the underlying master data governance. Plays a critical role in executing the monthly S&OP process by assuring smooth completion of the various tasks and job runs in the system associated with the individual S&OP steps. Drives system adoption by timely recognition of issues, gaps, and coordination of mitigation activities. Supports the users by coordinating the refresher trainings, user networks, super user train-the-trainer sessions. Is the change agent leading the adoption of best practices in the field of planning in the system, training of the team members. Owns the mid/long-term planning systems roadmap of necessary capabilities, tools and systems and works with the appropriate BPO's on the execution thereof. Defines and owns the planning Master Data Governance model. Leads monthly master data governance board and associated activities throughout the month to assure data readiness for S&OP execution in SAP IBP. Coordinates with the functional data owners timely updating and mitigation of any gaps. Runs analytics to continuously improve the quality of the master dataset and quality of the inflowing transactional data. Publishes master data quality metrics and drives timely mitigations. This role requires being ready to challenge status quo, roll up your sleeves and work together with cross-functional teams to develop, test and operationalize solutions as well as ensure its smooth adoption by effective change management within our organization.
3. OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SAP IBP Product Ownership As the Global Product Owner of SAP IBP, which is Biocon Biologics' primary S&OP planning tool, the role is tasked to support the user teams by assuring smooth operations of the system by nursing the timely handovers, task execution, job runs. Through partnerships with the SCM stakeholders and the IT counterparts, drives digitization and automation within the SCM, primarily in the planning space. Identifies opportunities for improvements and enhancements of the current SAP IBP platform with the aim of improving visibility and elimination of manual effort, while assuring alignment with the planning operating model. Assures timely configurations/creations/adjustments of planning areas, attributes, time profiles, key figures, planning operators etc. in SAP IBP. Supports the users with configuring analytics and dashboards. Champions the adoption of the system by assuring that system is a true enabler of the process capability and a value add. In case of any expansions of SAP IBP footprint to new regions, markets, products, etc., drives related data migration activities, testing, new user training, Go-live and Post Go-live support. Directs user training and refresher training. Generates training materials. Coordinates the super user network. Provides the 'train-the-trainer' training. Owns the SAP IBP playbook and keeps it up to date, while reflecting any system configuration changes.
SAP IBP Master data Management Sets the overall Master Data Management activities in day-to-day operations and long-term projects along with Governance structure. Quickly understands the data design for the implemented IBP solution, how it impacts the planning applications and ensure that the input data to the IBP system is accurate and consistent at all time. Maintains the Master Data primarily in SAP IBP & secondarily in SAP ECC to enable the operationalization of SAP IBP to complete End to End Supply Planning. Ensures proactive data creation, updates, deletions as per business requirements while following overall guidelines given by MD Governance Team Proposes governance actions within the department to improve efficiency across Plants & DCs Propose improvement actions in terms of governance & execution Be the SPOC with the Plants & DCs to coordinate required changes whatever the origin (proactive cleansing, new projects, improvements, etc) Assess carefully transversal projects impacting transversal data (E2E view / scope) Coordinate with all the local teams who are in the loop of responsibility of master-data. Monitor Master data Quality and Launch Corrective Plans Run periodically Core queries to generate data quality reports, run consistency checks, conduct analysis of Data Quality Reports, plan and take corrective actions to avoid inconsistencies in data, Execute reports and queries to validate and maintain MD consistency. Establish and communicate the MD dashboard with main KPIs to track the MD activity & Health Support and oversee multiple projects and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives of high importance impacting and act as SPOC from Planning for MDM related queries. Prioritize critical issues and provide required information to facilitate timely, efficient & effective decision making. Support CFT Discussions. Continually review the current IBP Demand and supply planning processes to ensure it continues to be up to date with current best practices and suitable for business growth needs and smooth operations. Centrally creating and changing master data records Controlling and monitoring the master data processes (for example, the creation, consolidation and distribution of master data)
• Processing requests for master data to be created or changed Determining whether or not a newly requested master data object already exists in the central system Approving or rejecting the master data requests Supplementing the master data records with specific attributes (for example, purchasing data, sales data) Determining whether or not duplicate master data records exist (for example, if the master data manager cannot make this decision alone)
4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education (degree / diploma) BE/ B-Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, IT and/or Production MBA in Operations and/or SCM mandatory Additionally, should be qualified on SC Analytics tools. Experience Total 8-12 Years (5-8 years' experience in SAP-IBP tool and master data management, along with Supply chain business role will be a plus)
Knowledge and Skills
(Functional / Technical) Essential In-depth knowledge of IBP/APO- Demand, Supply & Response, S&OP Functional and hands on experience on Power BI, Tableau, Python along with data management systems, SAP ECC and SAP IBP/ APO and/or JDA and Kinaxis hands on in Supply Planning. Understanding of the Modules like SAP-PP, MM, SD- Desirable Good understanding with experience of Supply Chain essential, preferably Pharma Supply Chain Planning concepts clarity with Strong Analytical ability, should have business process knowledge of demand planning, supply planning and S&OP Experience around configuring analytics and dashboards. Strong number and analytical skills Program management abilities High Proficiency in MS Office.
