Senior Dotnet Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with
5-10
years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET technologies, a strong understanding of software development best practices and proven experience in leading development teams. In addition to technical proficiency, the candidate must have excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively contribute to project planning, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy robust .NET applications (Web, Desktop, or Cloud-based) using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other related technologies.

·  Design and implement software solutions following best practices in software architecture and design patterns.

·   Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the development of high-quality, scalable applications.

·   Oversee the development life-cycle from design through implementation and testing.

·   Ensure code quality by conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and following continuous integration practices.

·   Manage version control using GitHub, handling pull requests, branching strategies, and code merging.

·   Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications to ensure efficiency and scalability.

·   Stay current with emerging .NET technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·  5-10
years of professional experience in .NET development with hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Web API.

·  Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or ).

·  Strong knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases, and experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework.

·  Experience with version control systems, specifically Git/GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows.

·  Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

·  Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

·  Proven experience in leading or mentoring teams of developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

·
Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.

·  Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

·  Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker.

·  Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.

·  Experience in leading projects and managing deadlines.
