Job location: Lower Parel

Role Overview:
The GST Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of GST monthly compliances, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of returns across multiple states. The role requires handling large volumes of data, performing reconciliations, and supporting GST audits and notices. The ideal candidate should have experience with GST implementation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as review the work of junior team members. Proficiency in SAP and Excel is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly GST compliance filings including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and other relevant returns.
  • Handle GST compliance across multiple states, dealing with large volumes of transactional data.
  • Support and contribute to GST implementation projects and process improvements.
  • Perform GST General Ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit responses for GST notices and assist in resolving related queries.
  • Support GST audit submissions and coordinate with auditors as required.
  • Independently manage assigned tasks and review the work of junior team members to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Utilize SAP and Excel tools effectively for data management and reporting.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in GST compliance and filings.
  • Experience handling GST across multiple states.
  • Exposure to GST implementation and audit processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead/review work of other team members.
