We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Web Developer with good knowledge in open source CMS like WordPress with PHP coding skills. They should possess excellent working knowledge of WordPress, PHP and MySQL.

Job Requirements: Looking for candidates with 2 to 4 years of appropriate hands-on experience Proficient in working with WordPress with an excellent knowledge to create and customize WordPress themes and plugins Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX Well versed with hooks level function programming Good knowledge in creating custom posts in WordPress Good knowledge in creating plugins in WordPress Proficiency in using PHP MVC frameworks like CodeIgnitor/Zend /CakePHP Understanding and working knowledge of other open source CMS like Magento and Joomla Exposure and understanding of online applications and its related challenges Familiar with responsive web design and other emerging web technologies Experience in working with APIs Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services Ability to do software development estimation is an added advantage Prefer candidates with project work experience with US clients Critical Skills and Abilities: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to maintain poise under stress and to respond quickly, logically, and patiently to questions or requests Ability to be highly proactive in overcoming obstacles to ensure project success Manage and complete tasks according to the assigned timeline Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members Demonstrate a passion for best design and coding practices
