Job Description

Explore an exciting opportunity as a Unity Game Developer with an indie game studio. This job offers a dynamic role for a passionate programmer with strong programming fundamentals, good problem-solving skills, system optimisation and good coding practices. You will be part of a team that is crafting immersive gaming experiences for a global audience.


Role

1. Develop gaming applications across platforms (PC and Consoles)

2. Develop the game mechanics based on design documents and game requirements laid out by the team

3. Design and build game features end to end

4. Cross platform code conversion projects

5. Leading a development team

6. Overseeing the software development life cycle (SDLC) for the team

7. Assist in estimating and planning work cycles

8. Deliver code at the highest quality standards and best practices

9. Work with designers and artists to achieve milestones on time

10.Work closely with the design team to incorporate game artwork and animations

11.Perform regular code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards

12.Testing and debugging the developed feature

13.Participate in knowledge sharing interactions and future product planning with the team


Skills

•      Expertise in Unity Game Engine

•      Good with C# programming with a passion for Clean Code Practices

•      Excellent knowledge of Unity 2d/3d concepts

•      Proven work experience completing a full video game life-cycle

•      Good intuition for game design and player experience

•      Prior experience working with substantial Unity projects

•      Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

•      Knowledge on game development pipeline and game optimisation

•      Good time-management skills

•      Knowledge of the latest gaming trends and technologies

•      Ability to work as an independent contributor, and as a team player
