Senior Automated QA Engineer

Intraedge is looking for a Senior Automated QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts, as well as identifying and reporting software defects. This role requires expertise in both mobile and web testing methodologies, as well as proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (e.g. , Appium, Selenium, Cypress).

- Collaborating with the QA team to develop test plans, test cases, and test strategies for mobile and web applications.

- Identifying test scenarios and defining test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing.

- Executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying software defects.

- Investigating and troubleshooting issues to determine root causes and providing detailed bug reports.

- Performing regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

- Automating regression test suites to facilitate efficient testing processes.

- Conducting integration testing to verify the interaction between different components of mobile and web applications.

- Ensuring seamless integration and interoperability across platforms and devices.

- Designing and executing performance tests to evaluate the responsiveness, scalability, and stability of mobile and web applications under various load conditions.

- Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing application performance.

- Continuous Integration and Deployment: Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and deployment.

- Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Documentation and Reporting: Documenting test procedures, test results, and test findings.

- Generating test reports and metrics to track test coverage, test execution progress, and defect trends.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Advanced certifications in software testing and quality assurance are a plus.

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing for mobile and web applications.

- Proven experience designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts.

- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and platforms such as XCUITest, Espresso, and Android/IOS UI Automator.

- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques for testing backend services (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and identify areas for improvement.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of software products.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in software testing and quality assurance.
