Job Overview:

Cloudologix are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in maintaining, developing, and scaling our client's infrastructure and CI/CD processes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations to ensure smooth integration, delivery, and deployment of the client's applications. You’ll also be responsible for enhancing system reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  • Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure and applications meet industry standards for security and compliance (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify needs and provide DevOps solutions.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and post-incident analysis.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations to reduce latency and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker .Implement and maintain containerized environments using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and Docker
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent tools.
  • Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and related workflows.
  • Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools (IAM, Security Groups, WAF, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Azure Certified DevOps Engineer / or equivalent

certifications.

• Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservices-based applications and

infrastructure.

• Database Management: Experience managing databases (SQL/NoSQL) in cloud environments.

• Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPC, load balancers, security groups)

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
