Job description

We are seeking a product designer to join our rapidly expanding team, specializing in proprietary architectural educational scale models. Your proficiency in product design and strategic design thinking will play a crucial role in realizing our growth objectives.


Applicants must showcase a keen interest in model making, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to professional excellence. Precision and attention to detail are mandatory in all aspects of work. We are searching for individuals thrilled to join the only company in the country positioned to become the next big terrain makers.


Requirement: Post available only for 3D Modelers / 3D Artists / Product Designers /Architects

Note: We only shortlist candidates if the portfolio is attached or shared with us at


Qualifications required:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Fusion 360 or SketchUp is required.


Responsibilities :

  • Utilization of engineering, mathematics, science, and materials knowledge to achieve the desired finished product.
  • Ability to create detailed 3D models based on concept sketches and generate instruction manuals from these models.
  • Experience in preparing production files for laser machines.

At our design studio, our principal vertical is, the design and manufacturing unit - I Built It

Here is a brief introduction about our Bangalore-based company I BUILT IT  - 

            I BUILT IT is a design and manufacturing firm with a product portfolio that includes proprietary architectural educational scale models. The products we design are flat packed and have interlocking mechanisms that allow the end user to easily assemble the product themselves, hence the name I BUILT IT. 

            Our current product line is focused on Medieval Europe, once complete, we will transition to Dock, Dungeons, and many more mechanical models.

                                        

          At I BUILT IT we follow the motto "Only the best is good enough". With this in mind, our products are manufactured to exacting standards with accurate tolerances and require extreme precision and skill in their design.
