Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist at Yashuss Unlimited, you will play a key role in extracting insights from complex data sets to drive strategic decisions and improve business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams - both internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop models, and deliver actionable recommendations.


 

 Responsibilities 

  • Data Analysis and Exploration: Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights.

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and implement predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.

  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their requirements and develop data-driven solutions to meet their needs.

  • Experimentation and Optimization: Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and improve model performance.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and incorporate new techniques and technologies into our processes.

  • Documentation: Document methodologies, assumptions, and results clearly and concisely for internal and external audiences.


Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights and solutions.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive data-driven decision-making.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills:

  •  Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques.

  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL and/or NoSQL / Mongo  databases.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.


Requirements
Coordinate managers, resources, equipment and information Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve Help prepare budgets Analyse risks and opportunities Oversee project procurement management Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement) Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
