This is a remote position.

 We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson with experience in the scaffolding industry to join our team. This role requires proficiency in scaffold design software, specifically Kwikstage scaffolding software, and involves creating detailed drawings and plans for scaffolding projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in scaffolding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. This position is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient design of scaffolding structures that meet both client specifications and industry standards. 

Responsibilities 

• Scaffold Design and Drafting 
  

• Use Kwikstage scaffolding software to create accurate and detailed designs and drawings for various scaffolding projects. 
  

• Ensure all scaffold designs meet the required specifications and comply with safety regulations and standards. 
  

• Project Collaboration 
  

• Work closely with project managers and engineers to translate scaffolding needs into workable designs. 
  

• Adjust designs based on feedback and project requirements to ensure optimal functionality and safety. 
  

• Documentation and Record Keeping 
  

• Maintain detailed documentation of all design drafts and revisions. 
  

• Provide comprehensive drawings and specifications for on-site teams to facilitate smooth project execution. 
  

• Communication and Coordination 
  

• Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure clarity and accuracy in scaffold designs. 
  

• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and software updates. 
  

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Draftsperson in the scaffolding industry. 
  

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding structures and industry safety standards. 
  

• Proficiency in using Kwikstage scaffolding software or similar scaffolding design software. 
  

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. 
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail. 
  

Desirable 

• Experience in training or mentoring others in scaffold design or the use of specific software. 
  

• Background in managing scaffolding design projects from conception through completion. 
  

Software 

• Proficiency in Kwikstage scaffolding software is required. 
  

• Familiarity with other industry-related software is a plus. 
  

Education 

• A tertiary qualification in drafting, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
