Your role

• deliver technical change to the Data Engineering for IB modern Tech Center Of Excellence
• develop automated tools for data analysis in timely manner, highest quality and innovation.
• participate in the project lifecycle from requirements specification to implementation, ensuring that the solution fits its intended purpose from a functional, technical, and quality perspective
• understand the project plan, dependencies and own responsibilities in this context
• ensure awareness of & adherence to industry trends and firm-wide strategies and initiatives
Your team
IB Modern Tech Center Of Excellence manages the initiatives across IB technology group to ensure UBS IB tech stack is up-to-date and ready to adopt new technologies and frameworks.
The team also works closely with Tech Risk group to proactively identify Cyber Risks and remediate them.
You'll be Data Engineer responsible for developing data analysis tools in PowerBI, preferably, to provide deep dive capabilities following standard development life-cycle processes.
Your expertise
• data engineer with 10+ years of experience
• powerBI experience with equivalent cloud technologies.
• proven track record in an agile SDLC in a large-scale enterprise environment
• design and implement Data Storage using relevant technologies. design and develop data ingestion, batch processing, stream processing solutions
• good to have experience with ETL (Informatica, Alteryx) and Data visualization tools like Tableau are an added advantage
• familiarity with CI / CD (TeamCity / Jenkins), Git / GitHub /GitLab
• greatmunicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels
• team player, working with a globally distributed team
