Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and Analytics in the U.S., the Sr. Inventory Analyst will assist in implementing and controlling the inventory, forecast future inventory needs, and work with the monthly and annual reconciliation with the inventory system and the Finance Department. Their goal will be to optimize the inventory planning and forecasting functions through thorough analysis and recommendations. They will forecast inventory purchasing that is aligned with the Sales forecast while ensuring inventory accuracy.

They will maintain and improve inventory levels by analysing statistics and providing accurate forecasting. They will work with the Inventory Department, 3PL company, and the OEM manufacturer for forecasting and inventory control. They will develop inventory-related reports and be responsible for reconciling inventory with the Finance Department. They will need a minimum bachelor's degree in finance or supply chain management with 7-10 years of actual experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Recommend process changes or system enhancements based on findings.
  • Develop strong partnerships between data engineering, finance and other business functions.

·      Practical hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and evolving business

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual summaries related to inventory accuracy.
  • Act as a liaison between teams to achieve established reconciliation efforts.
  • Compile, analyze, and evaluate data to inform financial revenue projections and support an aggressive growth strategy.
  • Identify and report on issues and trends. Escalate for review.
  • Contribute to customer and client satisfaction and deliver value to internal and external customers.
  • Identify root causes and disconnects to help management develop resolutions to inventory inaccuracies, work order release issues, aircraft cost variances, material flow issues and manufacturing positions regarding the master production schedule.
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations for all inventory and cost of goods accounts.
  • Work closely with applicable entities to coordinate and assist timely and accurate resolutions to associated production and inventory processes.
  • Identify and analyse recurring critical path items to mitigate internal impacts to the production schedule. Implement solutions to help remove barriers in order to improve production rates. Respond to problem issues from customers and initiate actions to minimize negative impacts.
  • Communicate your findings effectively and follow through to help drive improvements.
  • Manage numerous assignments, identify priorities, and exercise good judgment.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a senior inventory analysis role
  • Willing to work in US hours (between 7 PM to 7 AM IST)

·      Practical hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and evolving business.

·      Comfortable in problem solving and decision-making using leadership and time management skills.

  • Fluent in enterprise resource planning and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and strict attention to detail.
  • Experience with SQL and Tableau
  • Expert skills in Excel, Word, PPT
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Must come into the office fulltime
