The Opportunity Join our team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work directly with Mockingjay, our proprietary no-code/low-code automation testing platform. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll leverage Mockingjay's powerful no-code capabilities while implementing custom JavaScript logic when needed, ensuring our clients receive robust, reliable testing solutions across web, mobile, API, and performance testing domains. Key Responsibilities Design and build comprehensive automated test suites using the Mockingjay no-code platform Create end-to-end test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and performance testing Implement custom JavaScript logic within the platform for complex test scenarios and validations Collaborate with development teams and clients to understand testing requirements and acceptance criteria Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks using Mockingjay's platform capabilities Perform test case reviews, debugging, and optimization of automated test flows Work with LLM-powered test generation features to accelerate test creation Participate in testing strategy discussions and contribute to QA best practices Provide feedback to the platform development team for feature improvements and bug fixes Create and maintain test documentation and reporting dashboards Required Technical Skills Testing Fundamentals: Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices JavaScript Proficiency: Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals for implementing custom test logic and validations Web Technologies: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM structure, and web application behavior API Testing: Understanding of REST APIs, methods, status codes, and API testing concepts CSS Selectors & XPath: Proficiency in element identification strategies for web automation Test Design: Ability to create comprehensive test cases, test data, and test scenarios Debugging Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for identifying test failures Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with development teams and stakeholders Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to quality assurance and test coverage Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have) QA/Testing Experience: Previous experience in manual or automated testing roles Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks No-Code/Low-Code Platforms: Experience with visual testing tools or codeless automation platforms Our Technology Stack Testing Platform: Mockingjay No-Code/Low-Code Platform Custom Logic: JavaScript/TypeScript for advanced test scenarios Example Projects You'll Work On Building comprehensive regression test suites for client web applications using Mockingjay's no-code interface Creating API test automation workflows with custom JavaScript validations Building data-driven test cases with dynamic test data management Creating cross-browser compatibility test suites Developing custom JavaScript functions for complex business logic validation What Makes This Role Unique Work with cutting-edge no-code automation technology while having the flexibility to write custom JavaScript when needed Gain expertise in a comprehensive testing platform that covers all aspects of software testing Direct impact on product quality and client satisfaction through robust test automation Opportunity to influence platform development by providing user feedback and feature requests Growth path into senior SDET roles with deep platform expertise Next Steps Ready to revolutionize software testing with our innovative platform?
