Role : Testing Lead - FinTech


Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products/services.

- Lead a team of testers and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and prioritize testing efforts.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.

- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance.

- Conduct manual testing as needed to supplement automated testing efforts.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Track and report on testing progress, including test coverage, defects found, and overall quality metrics.

- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8-12 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on database testing, manual testing, and automation testing.

- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of testers.
