Job Title React Native & Node.js Developer Job Overview We are looking for a skilled React Native & Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. You will work on both mobile (i OS & Android) and backend server systems, building scalable, high-performance applications. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features and products. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and deploy mobile applications using React Native for both Android and i OS platforms. Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js (Express, Nest JS, Koa, or similar). Integrate frontend/mobile components with backend APIs (REST / Graph QL). Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit tests, integration tests). Optimize application performance (mobile app startup time, rendering speed, memory usage, API response times). Work on user interface components, animations, offline capabilities, and native module bridging when needed. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure designs are implemented faithfully and responsively. Ensure code quality via code reviews, automated tests, and best practices. Handle deployment processes: mobile app store submission, backend deployment, CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks. Stay up-to-date with latest mobile and backend technologies, libraries, and practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Java Script / Type Script. Proven experience (usually 4 years, adjust as per level) with React Native for mobile app development. Good understanding of both Android and i OS platforms: build tools (Xcode, Android Studio), platform limitations, native modules. Experience with Node.js backend: frameworks like Express, Nest JS etc., writing RESTful APIs / Graph QL. Familiarity with databases (SQL / No SQL), e.g. Postgre SQL, My SQL, Mongo DB, or others. Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture. Familiarity with version control (Git). Experience with automated testing (unit, integration), and tools like Jest, Mocha etc. Understanding mobile app lifecycle, performance optimizations, memory constraints. Good problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues. Ability to work in Agile / Scrum or similar iterative development methodologies. Good communication & collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally. Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Type Script rather than just Java Script. Experience with Redux, Mob X, or similar state management tools in React/React Native. Familiarity with native modules (i OS/Android) or bridging. Experience with CI/CD, mobile app store pipelines. Knowledge of offline storage (e.g. SQLite, Realm, or using local persistence mechanisms). Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and serverless architectures. Experience with Graph QL (both frontend & backend). Experience with performance monitoring, mobile crash reporting tools (e.g. Sentry, Bugsnag). UI/UX sensitivity: animations, responsive design, good design-implementation fidelity.
