As a Piping Layout Engineer youwill play a vital role in the design and implementation of pipingsystems for various projects. You will utilize your expertise inAutoCAD and other relevant tools to create accurate and efficientpiping layouts that meet project requirements and industrystandards.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • PipingDesign: Develop detailed piping layouts isometricdrawings and other technical documentation using AutoCADsoftware.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers designers and other engineers tounderstand project objectives requirements andspecifications.

  • Compliance: Ensure that piping designs adhere to applicable codes standards andregulations such as ASME ANSI andAPI.

  • Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize piping layouts forcosteffectiveness efficiency andsafety.

  • QualityAssurance: Conduct thorough reviews and checks of pipingdesigns to maintain high quality andaccuracy.

  • Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (such as civilmechanical and electrical) to integrate piping systems seamlesslywithin overall projectdesigns.

  • ProblemSolving: Analyze complex piping challenges and proposeinnovative solutions to overcomethem.

  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports specifications and drawings tocommunicate design concepts and detailseffectively.

  • RiskAssessment: Participate in risk assessment and mitigationactivities related to piping systems ensuring safety andreliability.

  • ContinuousImprovement: Stay updated with industry trendstechnologies and best practices in piping design andengineering.



Requirements Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or relatedfield.
Proven experience as a PipingLayout Engineer or similar role in an engineering consultancy orconstruction firm.
Proficiency inAutoCAD and other relevant software for pipingdesign.
Strong understanding ofpiping design principles materials andcomponents.
Familiarity with pipingcodes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.3 ASMEB31.1).
Excellent communication andteamwork skills.
Ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and meetdeadlines.
Attention to detail andproblemsolvingabilities.
