Job Description

The Solution Architect will provide dedicated architecture support to the Operations Management area covering a range of technology services and capabilities underpinning delivery of Global Operations within the company

The main activities performed in this role are:

Technology Solution design for the Operations Management areaFull lifecycle engagement with software delivery pods and engineering specialistsProduct assessment and evaluation & contribution into the overall technology strategyEnsuring solutions comply with bank standards and applicable design principles spanning the key technology domains cloud, cyber, data, devOpsReview strategies and solution designs and gaining approval via governance design authorities/review boards

The Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the strategic reference architecture, group standards and policies.

Must have skills:Minimum 8 years of experience as a technology Solution Architect

ideally in financial servicesTrack record of taking solutions from inception through design to deliveryCertification in a recognised

architectural framework e.g. TOGAFExpertise spanning

Cloud, micro-services, APIs and modern data architecturesIdeally experience of working with rapid development tooling and

low code/no code platformsIdeally experience of

data analytics, process intelligence and work force management toolsExpertise in one or more of:Microsoft Azure

– Azure Active Directory , Azure VMs, Azure App Service , Azure Storage etc.Python libraries and frameworks commonly used in Azure, such as Azure SDK for PythonGoogle Cloud Platform, data presentation (GCP Looker) , and QliksensePower Apps / Power AutomateETL tools and cloud integration (Juniper)Automation tooling supporting workflow / process orchestration / intelligent document recognitionNice / AnaplanBehaviouralExcellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiencesStrong stakeholder management skillsExcellent time management and prioritisation of work tasksSelf-motivated enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capabilityResolve product and project related issues at higher levelsFacilitate/Monitor review of the functional/design specification
