With a rich history of over 90 years, The Madras Seva Sadan is a prestigious institution in Chennai, dedicated to the holistic development of individuals aimed at producing self-supporting and self-reliant members of society. Its comprehensive approach includes a strong emphasis on education, sports and social welfare. The organization has grown to encompass 12 units and employs more than 600 people.

Today, The Madras Seva Sadan comprises various prominent units such as the Lady Andal IB School, Sir Mutha CBSE School, Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall and The Madras Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School, to name a few units.


Who are we looking for?


We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional with over 10 years of experience, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or non-profit sectors, to lead our marketing and business development efforts. This individual will be responsible for fundraising initiatives, brand promotion, literature management, and upholding our institution as a reputable and impactful organization. The role requires a proven track record in successful fundraising, a strong understanding of CSR initiatives, and demonstrated experience in overseeing impactful marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:


Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Lead marketing campaigns that enhance the institution’s visibility and public image.
  • Develop and update promotional materials, brochures, and other literature in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Create and execute marketing strategies for associated events to broaden audience engagement.
  • Oversee online marketing efforts, including regular updates to the institution’s website and LinkedIn page to ensure a consistent and engaging digital presence.


Content Management & Creative Portfolio:

  • Oversee updates to institutional literature, publications, and online presence to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain a comprehensive portfolio showcasing the institution’s projects, achievements, and goals.


Fundraising & Investor Relations:

  • Drive fundraising efforts, identifying potential sponsors, donors, and investors.
  • Organize meetings and presentations to pitch to investors and foster meaningful partnerships.
  • Collaborate with multinational organisations on CSR initiatives to support institutional goals.


Partnership Development:

  • Build and nurture relationships with organizations for collaborative fundraising efforts.
  • Represent the institution in meetings with external stakeholders to explore mutually beneficial opportunities.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, or a similar field.
  • Proven expertise in fundraising and CSR partnership management.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft effective marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Hindi is a must.
  • Proficient in online marketing and digital presence management, including creating LinkedIn posts and updating content on the website.
  • Experience in building and leading a marketing team.
  • Candidate must be based in Chennai, with availability for full-time hours 9 am to 5 pm.

  • The job location is in Chetpet, Chennai. This is an on-site job.
