Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead a team of electricians by providing guidance, assigning tasks, and managing work schedules to ensure the timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate training to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance:
  • Coordinate and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that electrical work is carried out in accordance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified risks promptly.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team when dealing with complex electrical issues or challenges.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to electrical systems.
  • Project Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to plan and execute electrical projects within designated timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure adequate resources, materials, and equipment are available for successful project completion.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including installation details, maintenance schedules, and repairs performed.
  • Generate reports on project progress, work completed, and any issues encountered.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor the quality of electrical work performed by the team to ensure it meets established standards and specifications.
  • Address any deviations or deficiencies promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in budget planning by estimating electrical project costs, labor requirements, and necessary materials.
  • Manage expenses to stay within budget constraints.
  • Coordination and Communication:
  • Collaborate with other supervisors, departments, and contractors to ensure smooth coordination of activities and projects.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management regarding project updates and challenges.
