We create, market and distribute the products that people choose to feed their families and keep themselves and their homes clean and fresh.MAIN BUSINESS CONTEXT: With a spend of ~150M€, Chloralkalis, include Caustic soda, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium and Potassium hydroxide which are key raw materials for our Home Care & Beauty & Personal Care business group and is a part of Inorganics portfolio. Consumption is spread across regions with a large number of global, regional and local suppliers.Portfolio requires deep understanding in a value chain eg. feedstock ,energy and utilities also cost model to improve or identify any opportunity through value chain.Apart of this need to have full understanding of feedstocks movement and its demand supply outlooks as a key driver to should cost modelling.Logistics costs forms a large portion of the delivered costs and is an important aspect for the portfolio especially inland transportation cost for caustic soda.MAIN JOB PURPOSE: Provide support and contribute to procurement initiatives for the portfolio assignedKey Accountabilities:• Responsible for delivery of Procurement Key Performance Indicators’ such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Cost & Cash Target, Gross Margin Improvement, Sustainability, and etc. in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management• Support security of key materials through the development of contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers, working with RD , BU teams and suppliers.• Monitors material report to update market pricing and read commentaries to maintain record of supply-demand balances• Close working with Suppliers and consuming countries to ensure material availability.Responsible for pricing accuracy together with other members of the Regional/Global teamResponsible for Price Forecast maintenance• Support in engaging with R&D for alternate material approvals / formulation changes, and at times lead regional implementation of global projects involving Inorganics.• Support delivery of cost savings (NMCI) in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.• Support Procurement Manager with the tendering process and the subsequent benchmarking and total cost analysis• Support operation complexity reduction programs• Continuously improve ways of working more efficient ways of handling data, thereby close co-operation with Enterprise support and Capability Teams• Support the management and maintenance of supplier relationships also internal relationshipm woith market team• Support compliance initiative, contract management, SQA/RS, specs, and etc.KEY REQUIREMENTS • 7+ years of experience in Buying or Procurement preferably in Chemicals• with MBA will be preferred.• Basic understanding of International Trade – Duties, Taxes, and etc.• Good understanding of suppliers and the external competitive environment• Experience in being accountable for target delivery.• Excellent Excel, PPT Presentation skills• Good Analytical and Communication Skills/ story telling• Able to work in fast paced environment and manage timelines• Good at stakholders management for both of internal and external• Be a person who think out of the box with disruptive idea All official offers from Unilever are issued only via our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
