Scope:

  • We are building a highly resilient and scalable world-class Transportation Management System (TMS) SaaS product, utilizing modern technologies.
  • This requires a strong Performance engineering team within our Product Development (PD) organization.
  • As a Performance Architect/Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team and ensuring optimal application performance and identifying potential bottlenecks.

Technical Environment:

  • Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with additional performance testing tools like Gatling, Grafana/Prometheus, or ELK.
  • Scripting Languages: Exposure to scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis (a plus).
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Prior experience within the Supply Chain domain (highly desirable). Prior experience with Order Management systems (OMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a significant advantage.
  • Azure User Events: Familiarity with Azure User Events for tracking user Behavior (a plus).

What you’ll do:

  • Design and develop comprehensive test scripts for performance, integration, and longevity testing.
  • Independently execute full-scale performance tests using JMeter and other relevant tools.
  • Analyse performance test results, pinpoint bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Craft clear and concise performance test reports, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative test automation scripts and utilities to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Mentor other Performance Testers in the team on scripting changes and troubleshooting.

What we are looking for:

  • Looking for Performance Testing professionals with 5 to 7 years of experience.
  • JMeter expert with a deep understanding of performance testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with one of the major databases (Oracle or SQL Server).
  • Working experience with any of the monitoring tools
  • Prior experience with enterprise supply chain applications (TMS, WMS, OMS) or e-commerce applications a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
