LEGAL – RRD INDIA , CHENNAI
The ‘Associate Manager - Corporate Affairs – Legal’, needs to be a Law Graduate who will be responsible for the review and/or development of Customer contracts, Vendor / Procurement contracts and including legal review of Requests for Proposals (RFQs) and review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). In addition, the position requires strong organizational skills and a willingness to work as part of an integrated legal and business team with discipline, integrity and ethical principles
. The successful candidate will also possess the following experience and key competencie
s:Legal Capabilities: The ideal candidate should possess effective skills and knowledge of legal sections for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts related to various business transactions covering Customer contracts, Vendor / Procurement contracts, including legal review of Requests for Proposals (RFQs) and review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). The candidate should also be able to effectively draft, review employment contracts, organizational policies, disciplinary letters and preparation of contract summaries a
nd summary of facts on a given legal case / issue.
Business Acumen
This position requires a business-minded, results-focused legal practitioner. The successful candidate must demonstrate broad business judgment and a willingness to understand the business strategy and objectives related to the transactions he/she is supporting. This will require a proactive and solution-oriented approach to identify and take advantage of the opportunities in his or her job areas, to improve business performance and also effectively adapt and or use technology and workflow tools for review of Legal documents and for effective performance of their job role and responsibilities.
Influencing Skills: As part of the Corporate Affairs – Legal Team, the candidate needs to be self-confident and mature to ensure that the broader corporate objectives are actively pursued and accurately represented to senior corporate management. Should be a good communicator both in one-on-one and group settings, this individual should also possess well-developed listening skills and convert feedback given for continuous improvement in their job roles to effectively provide solutions and communicate with sales and all other internal teams.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to work as part of a geographically and culturally diverse team. He/she will put broad business objectives before personal or local goals and will be a team player with an open leadership style. The candidate will have a personal style that isviewed as open-minded and collaborative and in seeking solutions to varied business issues within the framework of organizational and legal compliance.
Required Experience and Skills :
The candidate should be a law graduate and have a minimum of
4 to 5years of experience in a corporate environment having worked in close coordination with the internal teams ofthe organization and should possess strong communication skills, be solution/business-oriented andeffectively and harmoniously interact with internal and external cus tomers.
