About the role:

  • Conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations of an internal business segment, division, group, or line of business.
  • Assist management in resolving business issues in an effective and productive manner.
  • Design, document, and re-engineer business processes and publish business metrics results.

About the team:

  • The Capital Markets is one of the three verticals in FIS. It has various products and solutions in funds management, cleared derivatives, commercial lending, corporate treasury, insurance risk electronic trading, RegTech, wealth and retirement etc.
  • The AI/ML CoE team is a horizontal CoE for Capital Markets helping us drive revenue and bring significant savings to our businesses by identifying, exploring, and implementing AI/ML solutions.
  • The team consists of highly motivated solution architects, data scientists and ML engineers.

What you will be doing:

  • As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working cutting-edge AI/ML solutions across the organization.
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results.
  • Work on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Analyse and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 12-15 years of proven working experience as BA in FinTech world (preferred exposure to AI).
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.
  • Strong ability to identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
  • Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience in elicit and clear documentation of business and systems requirements.
  • Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.

  • Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
  • Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
  • Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
