Whom are we looking for?

  1. We are looking for a policy or government affairs professional, lawyer, or journalist with 2 to 5 years of experience and a degree in law, journalism, or political science.
  2. The ideal candidate excels at building relationships with policymakers, clients, and peers in the industry and has clear communication skills, and can work independently to solve problems.
  3. Willingness to be based in or relocate to Delhi-NCR with the flexibility to travel is essential.


Note : Previous experience with technology law or policy issues, such as data, telecom, gaming, health-tech, spacetech, Web 3.0, cybersecurity, blockchain, AI, and ESG is a bonus. Candidates with a background in government affairs, consultancy firms, industry associations, or government roles are highly preferred.


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with central government agencies, state nodal agencies, regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent Treelife in industry forums and discussions, and participate in roundtable meetings and conferences to provide expert insights and contribute to policy discussions.
  • Track and analyze legal and policy developments. You will learn to connect dots, identify patterns, and understand their impact on our clients, and the industry at large.
  • Author position papers, primers, briefing notes, research papers, responses to government consultations, stakeholder maps, talking points, long-form reports, and whitepapers, among others.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships/collaborations for the firm with external stakeholders-government, consulates, industry associations etc.
