What will you get to do?

Role :


- To lead and develop a comprehensive information & cyber security strategy for our organization within the landscape of web 3.0 and blockchain. Role holder will be responsible for creating strong safety net against a wide range of security threats, including cyber threats, IT infrastructure vulnerabilities, and the safeguarding of sensitive data through anti-hacking, antiphishing, and anti-malware interventions.


- Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems while facilitating business growth in these highly dynamic sectors. You will roll out and implement holistic security strategy to protect our assets, employees & operations.

KRAs :

1. Blockchain and Token Security

- Develop and implement end to end security measures to protect against threats such as blockchain architecture, wallet breaches, authentications and smart contract vulnerabilities.


- Conduct end to end security audits of smart contracts, dApps and blockchain applications to identify, segregate and rectify security vulnerabilities.

2. Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with industry-specific fintech regulations, including those related to payment processing and financial data protection. Ensure all technology acquisitions and overall systems comply with the ever-evolving regulatory landscape in the web 3.0 space, including blockchain & crypto.

3. Real-time Threat Analysis

- Continuously assess, monitor and analyze IT security threats, and risk mitigation against emerging threats in the blockchain, breaches and web 3.0 space. Address security challenges associated with blockchain scalability and decentralization with increase in distribution.

4. Exchange Security

Head - Cyber Security & IT Services

- Strategize and implement robust security measures to protect entire digital assets, crypto assets and trading platforms, including customer portfolios and wallets. Ensure the security of token and coin issuance and management and oversee the security of crypto assets, including private keys and digital wallets.

5. IT and Network Strategy

- Design, develop and implement a comprehensive IT and network strategies to the dynamic requirements of blockchain, crypto exchange, and fintech operations. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical and cybersecurity measures, including access control systems, surveillance, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

7. Incident Response

- Lead & coordinate all incident responses in the event of cyber threats & security breaches, ensuring control of system, swift recovery and mitigation of losses, particularly related to portfolio & assets.


- Test control and lead comprehensive system audits for better crisis management. Design and implement recovery protocols with a focus on asset protection and customer trust restoration.

8. Vendor and Third-Party Management

- Manage third-party security specialists and professional service providers with expertise in blockchain, crypto exchange, and fintech security. Blockchain Network and Smart Contract Security Auditing.


- Implementation of Security tools for cloud and on-premises infrastructure as well as Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party relationships and vendors.

Profile Expectations :

- Proven expertise in blockchain security, knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations, and experience with fintech security frameworks.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with a dedicated Master's.

- 10+ years of experience in risk management, information security, or IT roles.

- Knowledge of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.

- Familiarity with blockchain platforms and development tools (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Binance Smart Chain).

- Proficiency in scripting and source code programming languages, such as C#, C++, .NET.

- Prior experience in implementation of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SOC 2 and other security standards
