We are seeking an experienced Senior Testing Automation Engineer with a strong background in C# and Selenium. This role requires a hands-on approach to designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using C# and Selenium.
Test Script Development: Create and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance on best practices, technical challenges, and career development.
Individual Contribution: Act as an individual contributor, taking ownership of complex testing tasks and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.
Test Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the automation process, including the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Defect Tracking: Track and report defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a focus on C# and Selenium.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in C# and Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as NUnit, SpecFlow, or similar.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring testing teams, with the ability to balance team leadership and individual contribution.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance and load testing tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
