Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Senior React Developer. The Senior React Developer will develop and maintain high-quality software using React and other related libraries and frameworks. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions, and will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end engineers.You will be working closely with our collaborative team, supporting and building projects as required. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience

Technical Skills:Proficient in developing new user-facing features and building reusable components using React.jsTranslate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive codeOptimize components for performance across various web-capable devices and browsersSolid experience in responsive web developmentExpertise in HTML5 and CSS3 with a strong understanding of jQuery or other JavaScript librariesFamiliarity with CSS pre-processing frameworks such as LESS/SASS is a plusExperience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack is an advantageKnowledge of Git for version control, TypeScriptTDD experience with Jest or Cypress etc

React.js Expertise:Proven experience as a React.js Front End Developer or similar roleStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelFamiliarity with ECMAScript (ES6+)Experience with data structure libraries like Immutable.jsKnowledge of isomorphic React is beneficialUnderstanding of RESTful APIs

Collaboration and Problem-Solving:Ability to develop new features and interfaces from wireframe modelsEnsure optimal performance and user experience of applicationsIdentify and fix bugs and performance issuesWrite clean, readable, and testable codeCollaborate effectively with back-end developers, designers, and the team to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications

5+ years of experience writing production level code in Ruby for large business platforms (preferably marketplaces, martech or b2b SaaS).Computer Science, Software Development, and Back-End Web Development skillsExperience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and programming paradigmsAbility to design, develop, and maintain complex web applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaborationExperience in the marketing and advertising industry is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
