Description: POSITION OVERVIEW : Data Cloud Architect POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : 'Job Summary The Salesforce Data Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, data-driven solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Salesforce CDP) to unify customer data, deliver real-time insights, and enable personalized experiences across channels. This role combines deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and cloud integration ensuring seamless data orchestration between Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and external enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Architecture & Design Design end-to-end Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, integrating CRM, marketing, commerce, and analytics systems. Architect data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, harmonization rules, and unified customer profiles. Define data modeling, entity relationships, and data schema strategies within Salesforce Data Cloud. Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, data flow designs, and integration patterns. 2. Implementation & Delivery Lead configuration, setup, and deployment of Salesforce Data Cloud environments. Partner with Salesforce Admin, Marketing, and Data Engineering teams to build segmentation, activation, and audience insights. Work closely with development teams to enable real-time data synchronization using MuleSoft, APIs, or other ETL tools. Oversee implementation best practices for data quality, deduplication, and unification. 3. Data Strategy & Governance Define and enforce data governance frameworks for Data Cloud usage and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to establish data quality monitoring, lineage tracking, and stewardship processes. Design data-sharing policies and consent management configurations to ensure compliance and trust. 4. Integration & Analytics Enablement Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with external data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3, BigQuery). Collaborate with analytics teams to enable Einstein Analytics / Tableau integration for insights and AI-driven personalization. Define and optimize data activation for use in Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Experience Cloud. 5. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Serve as the technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders, Salesforce product owners, and client teams to define strategy and success metrics. Provide thought leadership on data unification, customer identity resolution, and personalization. Mentor team members and support enablement of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities within the organization.'
