Job Title: Manager, Strategy & Operations

This role is part of the Strategy & Operations team in Jio Saavn, working cross-functionally across the organization to formulate and operationalise overall strategy.

Role Overview

The Strategy & Operations team works closely with functional teams to distill the overall strategy into actionable plans. We are seeking a senior resource with exceptional project management skills, ability to work collaboratively, and build effective relationships across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Business Planning: Drive annual and 5-year business operating plans through top-down and bottom-up approaches.
  • Drive cross-stakeholder KPI alignment and communicate data-driven recommendations to leadership and the broader organization.
  • Maintain the cadence of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Half-Yearly business reviews to track performance vs goals and allow proactive course correction.
  • SUPPORT STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT USING QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS, MACRO AND INTERNAL DATA RESEARCH.
  • STAYING UP-TO-SPEED ON INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES AS IT PERTAINS TO THE OTT SEGMENT.
  • DRIVING AND OWNING IDENTIFIED STRATEGIC INITIATIVES END TO END.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of post-MBA work experience in a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, PE/VC fund, or similar relevant experience at a digital tech startup.
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in conducting and presenting quantitative and qualitative analyses and insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel financial modeling (SQL proficiency is a plus).
