About the job :


Jira Administrator with Python :

  • Administer and maintain Jira instances, including user management, workflows, custom fields, and plugins.
  • Develop custom scripts and automation using Python to enhance Jira functionality and integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions in Jira.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira configurations and integrations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Jira configurations, processes, and best practices.

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in Jira administration, including user management, permission schemes, workflows, and issue configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and customizations within the Jira environment.
  • Strong understanding of Jira REST API for integration with other applications.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and support Agile methodologies within Jira.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
