Software Testing Engineer Job DescriptionWe are looking for Software Testing Engineers with the ability to architect and implement modern test automation tools and frameworks to support automated functional testing of mobile and web applications they will also facilitate the integration of automated testing platforms with DevSecOps pipelines.Experience2+ yearsEducationAny GraduateLocationHyderabadRoles and ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Jenkins into our CI/CD processes.Design, Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applicationsDevelop and execute test plans, test cases and test reportsDevelop data-driven, modular automation scripts that can be re-used in the future with minimal additionsDesign and run performance and load tests to measure conformance to performance benchmarksWork with application developers to identify and resolve problems identified by automated testing toolsCollaborate with and mentor the customer s testing team on areas related to test automationResponsible for accomplishing personal and team goals and mentor junior members of the team2+ years of experience with software testing in an n-tiered architecture deployed in large scale enterprise environmentsSome experience developing test automation for both web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber and BDDMust have the programming language in JavaKnowledge of open source frameworks such as Cypress, TestProjectio etcPrior experience with Load and Performance testing tools preferred

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience working with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.Excellent understanding of Testing ConceptsGood understanding in SDLC, STLCCreate, Execute - Test Scenarios and Test CasesAutomation exposure for Web Apps and APIs (Selenium, Appium with Java)Working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Postman is optionalTest Execution: Automated tests to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure software qualityAutomated Testing: Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverageRegression Testing: Conducting regular regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalityExperience with test automation, analysis of test cases to identify candidate cases for automation vs Manual and development of automation scripts in Cypress / Selenium / Protractor / JavaScript is a mustExposure to API Testing

Rest / SOAP / Web Service / API (Postman / Swagger / Rest Assured / Soap UI)Experience of continuous integration and CI tools like Jenkins /AWS/AzureNeed to have experience with Source Version Control - Git/Bitbucket/GitLab/AWS CommitTesting Framework Experience - JUnit / TestNg / NUnit / Cucumber / Mocha SC, SCP, SDP, GGSN, SGSN, GX, GY, SY etcKnowledge of automated testing tools, like Test Complete, Telerik etcExperience in Model Based testing activities including test case design, automatic test case generationBasic experience in Model Based developmentExperience in testing tools and simulators such as LDRA / Vectorcast / GTest / CarMaker / VTD or equivalentSkillsTesting ConceptsJenkinsWrite Test Cases, ScenariosSTLC importanceWeb Apps testingAPI TestingSeleniumJavaRest AssuredPostman
