JobDescription WHAT YOU WILLHE/SHE DO: The Key deliverablewill be based at the warehouse/ manufacturing facility and workwith the warehouse and manufacturing operations team and report tothe head office for cost accounting and inventorycontrols.RESPONSIBILITIES Cost Accounting & Inventory Control Ownership of all thecost manufacturing and cost accountingrelatedrecords Ensure that the correct weightedaverage cost at the style code level is reflected in the financialaccounting system including coordination with the technology teamif required. Tracking absorption of thedirect and indirect overheads and maintaining a tracker/ audittrail of the adjustments to the product cost and closing stock (ifany). Tracking of Inventory movement at eachstage of manufacturing including job work activity Tracking of eachinwards and outwards from the warehouse and ensuring it should beupdated and reflected in the accountingsoftware Maintaining cost accounting recordsas per the applicable laws Ensure review ofthe internal processes and inventory health periodically identifyrisks and highlight the same to the regional and corporatemanagement through standard and exception reports Reporting& Statutory Compliances and RiskControls Based at the regional office forSingle point of contact to the Corporate Office for the financefunction and businessrelated updates. SOPpreparation periodic review and ensuring that these are adequateand operating effectively related to warehousing andmanufacturing. Timely submission of vendorinvoices to the accounting team Reporting/resolution of shortages/ excess duringinwards Coordination for internal auditsincluding bank and stock audits.Coordination for statutory compliances and maintaining thetracker. Repository of all financial recordsat the regional officeIDEALCANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES Aselfstarter who needs minimal supervisory control Strong on layingdown systems and processes and the ability to adhere toit Highly focused on cost accounting andcontrols High on integrity & andenergy Collaboratively working with otherbusinessRELEVANTEXPERIENCE Cost Accountantwith 68 years of relevant experienceExperience of working in a retail ecosystem would be an addedadvantage. Ability to work in anunstructured environment and set up systems and processes fromscratch is a must Good communication skillsand ability to represent the organizationexternally.
